Interview Me!

My new favorite conversation activity is called "Interview Me." I'm pretty sure I thought of it all by myself, but I can never be entirely sure.

Anyway, one student comes to the front of the class, sits on the teacher's stool and says "Interview Me" ideally with gusto. Then any student may ask any question ( although I've made it very clear that the interviewee may answer "None of your business.") It took off surprisingly well, with questions like "What countries have you been to?" or "Use an adjective to describe yourself." Every so often I'd throw in a question to keep things moving. One day I randomly asked "Would you rather be rich or happy?" and boy, did it start a dialogue!

To be continued...
