On a Scale of 1 -10...It's a 10.

I'm as pleased as punch to be happily settled in Halifax for the rest of the summer. Being home in Canada makes me feel very settled and relaxed. Having a new city to explore and weeks of academic challenges in front of me makes me giddy with anticipation. In short, I'm estatic. (=

The dorm is lovely, the classes are going to be right at the right level, and the computers in the library are quite happy to get my pictures off my USB flash onto my blog. So, you'll be hearing lots from me this summer, with accompanying pictures.

If you are only really interested in my experiences in Taiwan, check back in September, when I will (hopefully) be glad to return to my teaching job in Taipei.

To Carole from Aunt Carole, I know what you're experiencing, been there, done that. Remember MSVU is a 'sister' University to Dal. When Bill & I are in N.S., if Dorie's car will take us, we'd like to get to Halifax for an excursion. Hopefully Dorie will have your tel.no. and we'll get in touch with you to meet us for lunch. Lot's of love!
