I win! I'm done my novel. I haven't formatted it yet, so I'm not sure how many pages it is. but it's definitely over 50,000 words. And it didn't turn out so bad in the end, I went back and added more chapters during the 'junior high years.' Next step is to format it and print it out and make a book like last year. Of course I think that's not really going to happen in December. We're starting lunchtime Christmas performance practices today!
