I'm sitting in the living room, wasting time finding new little things for my blog (by the way, I hope everyone will click on the "Guestmap" link on the righthand side of this page underneath my profile - you can put a little person to mark where you live - or if you like, you can put your little person where you wish you were! You can still put a Canadian flag by your name, even if your little person is in Timbuktu.) Anyway, I noticed the Orchids we have on the bookcase, and realized I hadn't put a pictures of them online yet. See, one of the housemates who shall remain nameless bought these orchids to give to the Principal of our school when we went to her house for dinner. However, white flowers in Taiwanese culture mean that you are wishing death for the recipient. So, they became our house flowers. That was almost three weeks ago, and they still look completely fresh. They are stuck in wet foam, or something, we don't do anything to them. Pretty, aren't they?
