Here is what I'm going to call my official, but untried, address. It should work - the school is well known and supposedly they get enough English mail that the post office should be able to direct it quickly. It also means my packages come to me, instead of me having to go pick them up. So give it a try it your so inclined - I'll let you know when I get anything.

In other news - today I was again blown away at how pro-Christian this school is. My job includes teaching the Grade 2 classes "Angels From the Realms of Glory" to sing at the Christmas concert. This is not an easy job, think about it, it's about the trickiest carol out there. So we're taking it verse by verse, and I have to explain "Well, we're telling the angels to come and sing about the birth of the baby Jesus. Then we are all supposed to come and worship." And for my Grade 5 classes, they have to be narrators for their performance, and today we went through what they were supposed to say about "the most wonderful story, ever" and one of the kids raised his hand: "Jesus is God's Son, right?" It almost made me laugh that I have such freedom not only to present the Christmas story, but to be able to present it as true, and the real point of the holiday.
Finally, tonight should be a milestone for my novel - the half way point. Fireworks and a marching band are in order, but I'll probably just treat myself to an extra cup of tea and an hour to read. I'm in the middle of the novel "Hideous Kinky" which is the story of two young girls travelling with their hippy mother in Morocco. Highly recommended to the aunts and cousins - enjoyable and an easy read.
