Well that nice lady at the bakery was certainly the inspiration I needed. At the end of our little "I write books" conversation, she squeezed my arm and said "Jiyo!" which means something like "Keep Going!" (When I did spinning classes, right at the end when we all felt like just taking it easy, the instructor would yell "Jiyo! Jiyo!")
And so yesterday afternoon and evening I spent over three hours writing and got over 6,000 words finished. So I'm back on schedule. I hadn't realized it, but last week when I was getting stressed out over all the change, I wasn't writing at all, so I had a lot of catching up to do.
