The benefits of high winds and rain!

How funny that yesterday I was home the entire day and it was the only day so far I didn't post. I have a good reason, though: I was 'on task.' I felt that the typhoon day was exactly what I needed - a whole day to get everything done. Now that I have a computer and printer in my room - I don't have to share. So I spent the entire day working. First, I did a through copy-editing job of a brouchure that Dorcas asked me to edit: "The 60th Anniversary of FuHsing - 1947-2005" It had been translated from the Chinese, and made very little sense. So I spent a few hours retyping it and editing it. I had fun doing it, though, that's what I spent four years of university learning and practicing! And it's a real copy-editing job for my resume.
Then the rest of the day I did lesson plans. I finished all the Lesson Plans for my Saturday Club up to January, and my daily classes to the beginning of December. Printed them out and handed them in this morning. I feel so much better being on top on everything. Thank goodness for typhoons!
