There was some confusion as to what a "spinning class" is. I admit, when I first heard the term in Canada, I pictured someone standing on a little round disc and spinning. Not so- it's really just a glorified stationary bike. There's only one 'wheel' which is a disc at the front. There are 'brakes' on the wheel, which you can adjust with a tension knob. The seat and everything is adjustable, so you make it fit you, and then some person up at the front tells you when to peddle fast, when to turn the tension up, when to peddle standing up (really hard), etc. Sunday's are the best, R. is the instructor and is quite funny. Last week he played "unchained melody" today it was "where is the love?" and sang along! Posted by Hello
