The thing to do here is Night Markets! Everyone seems to go here to eat, or shop, or socialize, and they are all over the city. This picture was taken at Shilin Market. I really didn't fancy it, too many people, too much noise, and the smell of "stinky tofu" everywhere (yes, it really is called stinky tofu and it's a taiwanese favorite, and it REALLY stinks). But it certainly is colourful.
