Hi everyone - I just landed in Singapore. It is almost 6 am. I just spend 10 hours WAITING in the Taipei Airport. Part of me isn't surprised, reading that last blog entry makes me think I would have to eat my words about planning. There's always the unexpected. In this case - massive amounts of fog. Who knew - Taipei is foggy?
Anyway, it worked out to be fine, I had a good book to read, a trolley to sit on, and peace of mind, because my plans were flexible enough to change. I had my cellphone to call the hostel, which was willing to cancel last minute. And I slept the entire 4.5 hours on the plane.
Now I'm in Singapore, and so far, it looks like the airport lives up to it's best in the world reputation. I'm going to go through immigration, get my bag, and find a corner to get a few more hours sleep!
