My little weather pixie appears to be broken - she says it's 11 degrees and rainy when it's about 26 and sunny. But, the warm weather was actually very helpful for my grade 2 lesson today, we had to talk about spring, sing a song called "Spring is Coming" etc., and it was much more convincing that spring was coming when the sun was glaring in the window.
Today I had my grade 7 girls class, and they all cheered, loudly, when I told them Kathy was coming. I was a bit surprised! But everyone here seems excited for her to get here, and I am too. It will certainly be weird living together again, just like high school, but entirely different. I'm sure the benefits will far outweigh whatever reversion to childhood relations we'll have to work through!
