The feeling of Saturday morning.

I wish I could find the right word to describe the feeling in the apartment this morning. The word that keeps coming to mind is delicious. It's beautifully warm, with the sunlight and a cool breeze creeping through the windows. Oldies of the Bing Crosby / Frank Sinantra persusion are playing in the living room and spreading through the apartment. All of us have our doors open and are busy cleaning our spaces. Well, the three of of them are, I was being lazy and sitting in the living room reading my 'Lolita in Tehran' book, drinking my tall decaf Americano. I'm just so thankful that our apartment finally feels like home, and the 'Saturday morning feeling' I had thought was going to be resigned to my college living arrangements, has now come to Lane 78, Taipei!

By the way, I have too many pictures from yesterday to fill up this site. I've made another site, and as soon as it's finished I'll put a link on.

Yes, Carole is sitting around doing nothing while her room rots in disarray. Mine now looks fabulous and neat. The orchids we bought two weeks ago today are still perfect, even with no watering at all! You may have noticed Carole had the perfect Saturday morning feeling on a Sunday. Yep, that's how confused we are! Yesterday was Saturday but it was so full, we need today to recover. I actually thought it was Saturday for the first hour today too!
