On the walk from the apartment back to school this afternoon, Kathy and I passed 4 foreign men. This is unusual because of the sheer number of them in the one block walk to work and also because they were all between 20-30 and seemed relatively normal! Can you imagine? On the day I decided to wait to do my hair and make-up at school. If only.
I'm kidding by the way, I'm really not on the lookout! We've discussed it and there is a 95% chance that if you meet a foreign man in Taiwan, he will be (a) a super-rich businessman workaholic, (b) someone who is running away from problems at home, (c) someone who couldn't make it at home and is trying here, or (d) someone here just to get a gorgeous Taiwanese girlfriend. I'm sure there must be some normal guys out there, who like us girls are just trying to have an adventure overseas while making lots of money and getting practical work experience. Maybe.
