There is an occasional burst of sunshine from behind the grey clouds today. You couldn't exactly say the sun is shining, but I can definitely report that for the first day in weeks (or is it months?!) there is no rain. If it lasts all day it will be an occasion for rejoicing. I'm not allowing myself to hope.
I didn't post yesterday, there goes my streak. The worst part is my reason: you know those cards I spent hours colouring? Well, I spent all yesterday cutting them up, glueing them to cardstock, cutting up the cardstock, trying to get them all laid out in the laminating film, laminating, and then cutting them, again. They're done, but the whole project took about 8 hours, total. Whenever someone asked me what I was doing, I had to reply honestly: "Being stupid." But I did get it all done, so that all my 'stuff' for Advanced English is ready for the first two units.
This morning I had a great Saturday Class, I cheated a little and spent the last 1/2 hour getting them to play "4 on a Couch" that great game from youth groups of old. It was distantly related to what the class is about, it's a writing class, and we were talking about characters names. That logically leads to playing a game that involves switching names, right?
