Another Monday morning...Are you ready?

During my Saturday Class, some of my students were asking how long I would stay in Taiwan. Well, I started beating around the bush because I really don't know, and I asked them why. Well, turns out they want me to stay for three years, so I can teach them Advanced English until they graduate from this school! Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? It was the best affirmation that I am doing an okay job!

In other news, this whole blog thing is addictive. Now I have a regular route of blogs I visit daily, then add a post to my own. This is how it's supposed to be! So all of you who say your life is interesting enough to blog should just do it anyway - then I could read about your life everyday like you get to read about mine. It's only fair! Anyway, I'm going to add links to a few of my favorite ones on the sidebar, maybe tonight.

On one blog I found this handy little reference to the internet Death Clock, which is kind enough to take your information and give you your own personal date of death. A good reminder of the inevitability of our mortal bodies. My personal date of death? Monday, March 26, 2061. That is if I don't get run over by one of the crazy Taiwanese motorbikes!

Oh, and I don't think I put up my addresses on the site, like I had been meaning to. But now I think that's kind of a silly thing to do, seeing as this is a public site, and I don't exactly want people knocking on my door. So, if you want the correct address for sending my letters or packages, just email me.

Now it's time for me to get back to my Monday morning. So far, I've slept in until 7:20 (almost 9 hours sleep), got dressed, picked up a coffee, got to work pre 8am, read the paper and had my coffee for 15 minutes, checked email and blogs for 30 minutes, and am currently finishing my post at 9am. Still time to get all organized for my grade 5 class in an hour. Usually I'm all organized on Sunday night, but I determined that this weekend, starting with the half days on Thursday and Friday, would be one long weekend off - no weekend work (well, other than Saturday class and tutoring). So, now it's Monday, and I'm unorganized but well rested and ready to throw myself into the week.

Nice blog. I checked out the "death clock" link, but haven't been brave enough to enter my information. Not sure I want to know . . . Know what I mean?

What a co-incidence: I'm going to die on exactly the same day you are! Ha ha. March 2061 is going to be interesting :) By the way, sorry I didn't get to call. I didn't check my email until tonight (Sunday here) and just when I was getting ready to call, I realized it's actually Monday morning there. So... you're probably teaching a class of angelic children right now! Have fun! PS, you'll have to wait a bit longer for your congrats on the novel- hint, hint.
