Anyone fancy an Asian World Tour!?! I'm thinking of Kathy and Jill in particular, although there's no time like the present, Mom and Dad! Cathay Pacific has an AWESOME deal on their 21 day unlimited pass. It includes roundtrip from Toronto to Hong Kong, and then unlimited travel in 18 asian cities (including Taipei). I read ALL the small print, and you really just have to pay $1499 CND for the whole thing, plus departure taxes (around $20 per airport). And of course, hotels, but most of the asian cities have cheap hostels. Really, someone should take this opportunity of a lifetime! Just imagine...

Well, look at that: destinations I've only dreamed of! And not only are my Canadian and American bank accounts overflowing at the moment, Dad just found two $1000 saving bonds of mine in the filing cabinet! Hmmm, can I call that a sign and sign up now?

When were you thinking of doing this? Next fall?? mmmm, I might be in the black by then ... It's hard to know what I'll be doing then though - hard to plan this far ahead. Any idea how long that deal is offered for?
Well, I think Kathy is thinking of her all-Asian travel in February or March. If I go, it would be in September. I think the deal is on all year. I figured out the only catch is you have to plan everything ahead of time, you can't change your mind about where you go or for how long. But, heh, we're world travelers who like to plan ahead, right! Jill - we could do it together in September!
