Claire's card said "This present may look a little familiar to you." I opened it, and found a pile of wrapping peanuts, or with a little imagination - snow! There was a wrapped box, which I pulled out, then tons of chocolate amidst the white, so it was like a treasure hunt to dig out all the chocolate! Then I opened the gift, and immediately recognized it, but I didn't know from where. Then after I thought about it long enough, I remembered it was one of the wedding presents that had been in a gift bag instead of gift wrapped. So we had snooped through a few, and I went on and on about how beautiful this vase was. Claire and I had agreed that it was very much 'Carole', and not especially 'Claire.' So she gave it to me! I was so happy - I really need a vase - I've been borrowing Carolyns. And it looks like it's also designed as a pitcher, perfect for iced green tea when the weather gets hot again.
